Are you a theatre maker? Are you interested in working in the field of Applied Theatre Intervention Projects? Are you ready to use your art for social transformation? If your answer is YES then Drama for Life Theatre Company is looking for you.
Drama for Life Theatre Company is a professional performance company devoted to social transformation and healing. Our work centres around Applied Theatre and Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR), expanding onto broader social transformation content affecting youth. The company specialises in interventions and/or performances for education, activism and awareness generation. DFL Theatre Company is looking for 4 professional theatre makers who will work in schools and various institutions on a 6 month fixed term contract.
Preferred Qualifications, skills & Experience:
Experience (min. 2 years) in Applied Theatre and Public Health – ideally SRHR related work
Experience in designing and implementing facilitator training programmes – especially in community and/or youth centred programmes
Experience (min. 2 years) working in Applied Theatre/Drama programme
Minimum undergraduate degree in performing arts or applied arts.
